Getting Paid Should Be the Easy Part
PharmaLink works with healthcare practices of all sizes, from groups with hundreds of providers and dozens of locations to one-provider family practices. We keep the money side of dispensing simple on both ends: predictable terms when your practice orders medications, and flexible options when your patients pay for them.
Simple Terms for Your Practice
When medications ship to your practice, we send an invoice on standard 30-day terms. We accept all major credit cards as well as checks, e-checks, and ACH. One order, one invoice, one payment — straightforward accounting your bookkeeper will appreciate, with order history and transaction ledgers available any time.
Every Way for Patients to Pay
How patients pay depends on the program you run — and PharmaLink supports all of them:
- Cash and card at the point of care. In a cash and carry program, patients pay when they receive their medication, with transparent pricing you control. Card charges and refunds are handled right in the dispensing workflow.
- Online payments. Through the patient portal, patients review what’s due and pay from their phone in a secure Stripe-powered checkout — with saved cards, receipts, and payment history. Practices using automatic refills can charge a saved card as each refill ships.
- Insurance adjudication. Private insurance dispensing bills your patients’ insurance plans, so patients pay only their copay.
- Workers’ compensation billing. In a workers’ comp program, the carrier is billed — injured workers pay nothing out of pocket.
- Memberships and benefits. Membership programs support member pricing tiers, wallet balances, and vouchers that apply automatically at dispense time.
One System, All of It Reconciled
Whichever mix of payment types your practice uses, everything lands in the same reporting: transaction ledgers, payment activity, and profitability views by provider and product. No separate terminal exports to chase down at month end.
Talk Through the Right Setup
Payment flow is one of the first things we configure with a new practice. Tell us how your patients prefer to pay and we’ll set the program up to match — contact us to talk it through.
